JEET stands for "Joint Efforts for Educational Transformation". It’s a nationwide alliance of NGOs formed in January 2023, committed to reshaping education in India. At its helm is the Ramakrishna Sarada Samiti (www.rkssngo.org), an NGO that has been serving marginalized communities since 1968.

Founding Members of the Alliance are the following NGOs

1. Ramakrishna Sarada Samiti
Activities: Education, Women’s Empowerment and Health Camps
2. National Association for the Blind, India
Activities: Prevention of blindness and low vision, Education, Talking books, Braille press, Vocational training, etc.
3. Bombay Community Public Trust
Activities: Educational scholarships, medical relief, development of some training manuals and films, conducting NGO development activities and projects through NGOs
4. Shree Samarth Vyayam Mandir
Activities: Sports Training & Certification and Yoga
5. MSP Foundation
Activities: Educating, uplifting and strengthening through schools in Ambavade MH.
6. Muktangan Education Trust
Activities: Seven Mumbai Municipal schools integrated with a Teacher Education Center, Outreach through Collaborative Learning, Research and Advocacy
7. VK Ramaswamy Iyengar Chellamal Education Trust
Activities: Make educational videos for the disadvantaged and providing them free
8. Vipla Foundation
Activities: Education Initiatives, Skill Development Programs, Community Development.

Education is a Fundamental Right of every child and Constitution requires that children from the age groups 6 to 14 should get free and quality education in schools. We are dedicated to eradicating inequality and fostering quality and inclusion within the Indian education system. By uniting with Governments, organizations, institutions, schools, and individuals, we aim to create a more equitable future for learners across the country.
